Fond Farewells

Mark and Allen saying their goodbyes on Sunday. Anna and Gwen had everyone help to put together a wonderful luncheon..homemade.pulled pork or chicken sandwiches, cole slaw, pork and beans, lovely rolls and bread, watermelon and Southern style banana pudding, samples of Australian candy. There were about 35 members of our family there. (Kodie & Bright saying goodbye in the background.)

It was a wonderful family day and friend day. Our talks in church went well. We talked about ways to live our beliefs. Allen explained what a testimony consists of and gave some examples from his life.

I focused on how I see others living their beliefs and what I have tried to do as well. I mentioned ambiguity, failure and empathy. Everyone, everywhere is invited to Come unto Christ and be perfected in Him. All are welcome.
